Thought installation. This work is based on a collection of people’s most dominant thoughts. Random people were asked to answer one question on whatever thought came to them the most often. After anonymously collecting over 100 participants, the artist decided to create receipts out of all the different answers. As she is interested in psychology and the way people think, she wants to show you what price you pay for thinking the same thought over and over again. All answers have different prices as they are all unique. She also worked with an interest rate, as you accumulate your expenses by sending your life in a certain direction by thinking. The receipt are allowed to be touched and looked through. You are also still able to send in your most dominant thought by the QR code on the receipt. You will have the option to leave you email in case you’d like to receipt a digital copy of your personal receipt.
